“The big money is not in the buying and selling, but in the waiting.” – Charlie Munger
Recently, I have come into the trap of being too focused on the short term price movements of stocks.
A meaningful change that can occur in a company will not happen fast. It will take the fastest months and likely years for significant change to happen.
The investment will always be more apparent when looking in hindsight.
But all the future that we will see is in the Now.
All we can do Now is just to take positions in ideas that we think have a high probability of us being right in the long run.
It’s important to start with the assumption that we truly cannot predict the future with a 100% certainty. All we can do is to invest in a high probability event in the future.
